The family business Livarstvo Kavčič d.o.o. deals with non-ferrous zinc alloy casting ( Zamak 2, Zamak 3 and Zamak 5) . The company has developed from a small workshop, which was founded in the 80s of the last century. The year 1992 was a turning point when we launched zinc die casting due to the increased demand for our products and services.
Another important year was 1997, when production was moved to larger premises as well as the year 2004 when we started with aluminium die casting.
With the increasing number of machines, the production facilities became over the years insufficient, so in 2014 we started building a new production facility in Logatec (next to the highway Ljubljana-Koper) . Aluminium die casting production, in the new company Aluliv Kavcic d.o.o, was launched in June 2015.

Our customers come from Germany, France, Austria, the USA, Sweden, Portugal, India and Slovenia. The share of exports has been increasing over the years, with current level amounting to 25% of products, and in the long term the share of exports is expected to increase at least to 50%.
